This is the first year to have a freshman team, though we faced many challenges on playing time for so many; I am thankful for such a great group of girls that have worked so hard to improve their skills to make the volleyball program a success.

Boys soccer loses to Amelia

The score after the first half was 1-0 Amelia with the goal being scored on a questionable no call on off-sides. While maintaining good team shape and defensive pressure, it was obvious the Barons were getting frustrated. Sam Anderson scored the Lions only goal on a near post shot that found the upper 90 open. The boys played hard and were very much in the game through most of the second half. Amelia speed and quick ball movement proved to be too much giving them the victory. Our final regular season game will be played Thursday versus Bethel at New Richmond. We will open tournament play Monday Oct. 18th at CNE
